今回は予告通り、MG42への対空フロントサイトの取付について紹介します！

本当ならバレルの取り外しができるG&G製で紹介したかったのですが、現在チューナー様のところでお世話になっているため、S&T製で紹介します。

MG42オーナーであれば多分気づいていると思いますが、バレルジャケット上部のこの部分が取り付け基部になります。

As advertised, I'm going to show you the installation of an anti-aircraft front sight on the MG42!

I really wanted to introduce it in the G&G made with removable barrels, but now the tuner's By the way, since you're taking care of it, I'm going to introduce it in S&T.

If you're an MG42 owner, you've probably noticed that this part of the top of the barrel jacket is This is the base of installation.



両端に切り欠きがあって、対空フロントサイトにも棒があるため、ここがはまるんだろうなーと言うのは想像できたと思います。

となると問題は固定方法です。職人気質のドイツ人が、さすがに穴に差すだけってことはないでしょう。
それに軸の先端にある、この溝がまだ活用されていません。

There's a notch on both ends and a bar in the anti-aircraft front sight, so I'm guessing this is where it will fit in. I think you could imagine saying that.

Then the problem is how to fix it. I'm sure the Germans, with their craftsmanship, wouldn't just put it in the hole.
Besides, this groove at the end of the shaft is still underutilized. The part is the base of the mounting.



実はバレルジャケットの取り付け基部を裏側から見るとスリットがあることが分かります。

If you look at the mounting base of the barrel jacket from the back side, you can see that there is a slit.






（こんなところでエンドスコープが役立ちました笑）


実は対空フロントサイトには本来は固定用のクリップが必要なのです。

The anti-aircraft front sight essentially needs a clip to hold it in place.




これを使って、このようにスリット越しに軸の溝を挟むことで固定するのです。

This is used to hold it in place by pinching the groove of the shaft through the slit like this.




ちなみにショウエイのレプリカにはこのようなクリップ取り付け補助具がついています。
実銃やG&G製ならバレルを取り外して簡単に取り付けられるのですが、ショウエイ製はその機能が無いので、バレルをつけたまま取り付けられるようにという優しさなのです。

By the way, Shoei replicas come with these clip mounting aids.
If it's a real gun or G&G, you can remove the barrel and install it easily, but Shoei's is not that easy to install. It's a kindness that allows you to install it with the barrel on, since it doesn't have a feature.




ただし！バレル取り外しができるG&G製以外でクリップ等で固定するのはお勧めしません！
アウターバレルが邪魔になって外すのにかなり苦労します！
サイトの軸部分に両面テープ付けて固定するくらいにしておくことをお勧めします。

ちなみにクリップについて検索してみましたが、国内海外共に単体販売はなさそうです。
海外であれば、取り付け基部とセットで35ドルで売ってますね。

見えるところではありませんので、安全ピンとか針金で固定は可能と思います。

2回にわたってMG42の対空フロントサイトについて紹介してきました。
G&G製もS&T製もどちらも対空リアサイトが付属していますが、フロントサイトが無いため飾り扱いだったと思います。
この機会にお持ちのMG42を対空仕様にしてみてはいかがでしょうか。

さらにこだわりたい方は対空三脚まで揃えたら幸せになれると思いますよ(≧∇≦)

However! I don't recommend using clips or anything else to hold it in place other than the G&G's with removable barrels!
The outer barrel gets in the way and is pretty hard to remove!
I recommend that you should only attach double-sided tape to the shaft part of the site and fix it.

By the way, I searched for the clip, but it seems that it is not sold in Japan and abroad.
If it is sold abroad, it is sold for $35 as a set with an attachment base.

Please note that there are no clips in this kit.
It's not visible, so I think it can be secured with safety pins or wire.

I have introduced the anti-aircraft front sight of MG42 twice.
Both the G&G and S&T models come with an anti-aircraft rear sight, but without a front sight. I think it was treated as a decoration.
How about using this opportunity to make your MG42 anti-aircraft?

I think that you will be happy if you arrange even an anti-aircraft tripod.

2020/6/25追記
G&G MG42が帰ってきたので確認してみましたが、銃本体側の取り付け基部に溝がありませんでした。
つまり対空サイトを差し込みはできますがクリップで固定することが出来ません。
20万円以上するのに、こういう細かいところをこだわらないのは非常に残念です。
せっかくバレル交換ギミックがあるのでクリップもつけやすいというのに・・・

I checked the G&G MG42 when it came back, and there is no groove at the base of the gun's mounting base. It was not.
You can insert the anti-aircraft sight, but you can't clip it in place.
It's a shame that they don't pay attention to details like this when the price is over 200,000 yen.
It's a shame that they don't pay more attention to details like this, because it's so easy to clip the barrel.

これ、なんだかわかりますよね？
そうです！MG42好きならみんな知っている、対空フロントサイトです！
最近はバトルフィールド5でもMG42のカスタマイズとしてあるので、そちらでご存知の方も多いと思います。

対空フロントサイトはショウエイからレプリカが出されていたほか、ユーゴスラビア製の実物などが出回っていましたが、それらはこの軸の部分が太すぎて、ショウエイ製MG42以外は対応していなかったのです。

You know what this is, right?
Yes, everyone who loves MG42 knows about the anti-aircraft front sight!
Recently, there is also Battlefield 5 as a customization for MG42, so you may know it there. I think it's a lot.

The anti-aircraft front sight was a replica from Shoei, as well as the real one made by Yugoslavia and so on, but those were too thick on this shaft, except for the MG42 made by Shoei. It was not supported others.




本体はS&T製ですが、こんな感じで、全然はまりません・・・orz
G&G製も試してみましたが、全く同じ結果に終わりました。

それもそのはずで、ショウエイ製とS&T製とG&G製にはまるサイズでは、全然違います。

The Gun is made by S&T, but it doesn't fit in at all like this...
I also tried the G&G product and ended up with exactly the same results.

As it should be, the sizes that fit the Shoei, S&T and G&G products are completely different.

またショウエイ製は正規価格が18000円とルガーが一挺買えてしまうような値段でした。
それ以前に恐らく少数生産のため、今ではほとんど流通していません。
そこで今回、S&TとG&Gのどちらにも取り付け可能な対空フロントサイトを作成してみました。

今回はPA12GBと言う素材で作ってみました。
この素材の場合、デフォルトの色は灰色ですのでお好みの色で塗装してお使いください。
様々な素材で販売していますが、PA12GB以外は実物を試しておりません。
本体が使えないということはないと思いますが、ネジやナットなどの精度が求められる部品については
使えないこともあるかもしれませんので、その点はご了承くださいm(_ _)m

今回せっかくフロントサイトを作成したのに、実はこれの取り付け方について書かれた記事ってあまりないんですよね(^_^;
ということで次回はMG42への対空サイトの取付け方あれこれについて紹介します。

今回はタイトルにある通り、小銃の保護袋について紹介したいと思います。

私は公共交通機関ゲーマーなので、ソフトガンケースに複数挺のエアガンを入れて持ち運ぶことがよくあります。
別にMP40とかStg44とかであれば、そこまで気にはしません。
どちらも武骨なフルメタル野郎なので、ある程度は雑に扱っちゃいます。

問題はKar98kです。
あの子だけは非常に繊細な柔肌を持っているため、上記のような野郎どもと同じケースに放り込むわけにはいきません。
（フルメタル野郎どもの1.5倍くらいの値段するのも理由の一つではあります笑）

でもフィールドへはどちらも持っていきたい！何かいいものはないだろうか？
Kar98k自体が全長1.1mくらいあるため、なかなかちょうどいいものを見つけることが出来ませんでした。
布を巻きつける方法も考えたのですが、つけたり外したりが面倒です。
その時ふと目に留まったのが、剣道の竹刀袋です。

500円くらいだし、最悪使えなくてもいいやと思ってポチりました。
並べてみるとこんな感じです。





これはいけそうだと思い、ぐりぐりと入れてみたところ・・・




ストック部分がちょっときついため、竹刀袋のスリット部分が多少割けはしましたが、収めることが出来ました。
これにより、フルメタルな銃たちとKar98kを同時にガンケースに収めることが出来るようになったのでした。
あまり同じ境遇の人はいないと思いますが、何らかの参考になればと思い、紹介します。

今回も大戦ネタでなくて恐縮ですが、他にこの情報を紹介しているところもないのでここで書きます。

以前、アマゾンプライムデーでエンドスコープ（ファイバースコープ）が安くなっていたので購入しました。
画面もついていて、防水完備の本格的なものは1万円前後する上に太さが8mm以上あるのですが、
WifiやUSBでスマホやタブレットと接続して使うタイプのものなら大体5000円くらいで売っています。
その中でなんと先端の直径が5.5mmという商品が安売りされていたのです。

5.5mm・・・BB弾よりも小さいということは、もうお分かりですね？
これがあれば銃口からホップの突出具合とかが出来て便利なのではないか！
と、このように考えてこれの3.5m版を購入してみました。

届いた商品がこちらです。


意外とお洒落な感じのパッケージになってます。



中身はこんな感じです。本体、説明書（日本語対応）、充電用USBケーブル、右の細かいのは先端に取り付けるアクセサリーで、フック、45度の鏡、マグネットの3種類が付属していました。

早速セットアップして銃口に入れようとしたのですが・・・・あれ？入らない！？！？
実は先端にはキャップがついているため、これの直径が6.3mmあり、そのままでは入らないのです。
気を取り直してキャップを取り外してみた時の直径がこんな感じです。




5.56mmと、なぜか実弾みたいな直径です(^_^;

それでは銃口の中を見てみましょう！
まず最初に見るのはSRCのMP40です。



奥の方に何かが見えますね・・・




もっと寄ってみると・・・



保管するときはノンホップなので特にホップは下がってないですね。
このMP40にはガンジニアさんのG-HOPを自作して組み込んだため、見えているのはG-HOPのスピンシートという部分です。
こういう形で見るのは初めてなので面白いですが、MP40はチャンバーとバレルだけでホップの出具合を確認できるので、わざわざスコープ使う意味はないです笑

ということでお次はこちら！



このブログを見る人ならお分かりかと思いますが、タナカのKar 98kです。
こいつはホップを押す部分が本体側についているため、ホップの突出具合を確認するのが厄介なのです。
（手で押してある程度はわかりますが、実際の突出量はわからない）
ということで早速見てみます。



これが保管時のノンホップ状態です。
まあこんな感じでしょうね。

次に最大までホップをかけてみます。



こんな感じの具合です。
たしか最大ホップだと摩擦が強すぎて弾が出なかった記憶があります笑

今回は写真だけですけど、実際ホップレバーを動かすと、グニョグニョと突出具合が変わるのは面白かったです。
youtubeやってたら上げてたんですが、そのあたりは今後の課題ですね(^_^;

今回は最近入手したT238グレネードについて紹介します！

それではさっそく分解してみましょう。
購入したT238グレネードには、箱はついていませんでしたが、分解＆調整用の六角レンチがついていました。
これで上部の３つのネジを外すと・・・

はい、こんな感じで外れました。左奥に写っているのが取り外した上部カバーです。
この灰色のクリップ状の部品が、T238の時限装置です。
上の写真では「レバーが上がっている＝作動した」状態ですが、これをレバーを下げて作動前に持っていくと・・・

It came off like this. You can see the top cover in the back left corner.
This gray clip is the timing device of T238.
In the photo above, the lever is up, you can see that it has been activated.
But if you lower the lever, If you take it with you...




こんな感じでピンが飛び出します。
このピンが引っ込もうとするのを先ほどのクリップが抑え込むことによって遅延を発生させているのです。

クリップの部分はこんな感じです。

The pin will pop out like this.
When the pin tries to retract, the clip prevents it from being retracted and creates a delay. They are there.

This is what the Timerclip looks like.




中央の穴にゴム製のOリングが入っており、これを両側から抑える構造になっています。
抑える強さは六角ボルトで調整することができ、これによって遅延時間が変わるという仕組みなのです。
分かってしまえばなんということはないですが、ゴムによる摩擦で遅延を作り出す発想はなかったです。
時間の正確性はさがりますが、ゼンマイよりも単純で丈夫ですから合理的です。

レバーとピンについてはこんな感じで連動しています。


There is a rubber O-ring in the center hole, which is held in place from both sides.
The strength of the restraint can be adjusted with a hexagonal bolt, which changes the delay time. It is.
Once you understand it, it's not so bad, but the idea of creating a delay through friction with rubber never occurred to me. It is a good idea.
The accuracy of the time is less, but it is simpler and more durable than a spring, so it is more reasonable.

As for the levers and pins, they work together like this.




ここまでの紹介で概ね十分だと思うのですが、せっかくなのでこの先も分解してみました。
底の部分にも六角ボルトがあります。

これを外すと・・・

こんな感じで外れます。
ちょっと見づらいですが、胴体部には強めのスプリングが入っており、このスプリングが上部と底部を開いて、撃発するようになっています。

全体を並べてみるとこんな感じです。

Here's what the whole thing looks like when you put it together.



文字で説明するのが難しいですが・・・
● 灰色のT238と書かれた胴体部は開こうとする。
● それを黄色の上部と底部が挟み込む形で抑えている。
● 上部と底部は中央のスプリングによって常に開こうとしている。
● 上部と底部が開くためには中央のピンがクリップから抜ける必要がある。
● クリップは六角ボルトによって締め付けられ、摩擦により、ピンを抑えている。
こんな感じですかね。

It's hard to explain in words, but...
1. The fuselage, marked T238 in grey, tries to open.
2. The yellow top and bottom are holding it in between.
3. The top and bottom are always trying to open by means of a central spring.
4. For the top and bottom to open, the central pin has to be pulled out of the clip.
5. The clip is tightened by a hexagonal bolt, which holds the pin in place by friction.

Webの記事などで不発とか数分経っても作動しないといわれていたりしますが、
クリップの六角ボルトを締めすぎていることが原因だと思われます。
ただ、六角ボルトが十分緩められていたとしても、ハンドルが本体の下に来た場合や、
ハンドルが開こうとするのを妨げるもの（壁とか落ち葉とか）があった場合は、
その力に負けてしまって作動しないこともあります。
なので、私はハンドルを切り取ってしまおうと画策中です。

It may be due to over-tightening the hex bolts on the clip.
However, even if the hex bolt is sufficiently loosened, if the handle comes underneath the body,
or if the handle If there is something (such as a wall or a fallen leaf) that prevents it from trying to open,
it will lose its power and It may not work.

それと中華プラスチックの悲しさか、クリップ部が割れてしまいました。
スペアパーツの入手も絶望的なのでこんなものを作ってみました。
元のパーツにあった謎のデザインを排除し、塊感あふれる形状にしたので丈夫です。

2020/3/30追記
Oリングですが内径が2.4mm、線径が2.3mmという独自っぽいものが使われています。
一番身近なP規格で試したところ、P3が使えました。ただ線径が細いこともあり、私の個体の場合は最大まで締めても4秒くらいの遅延までしかできませんでした。

新たにふたつのOリングを購入してみた。
左からオリジナル、AS103、AS104
AS103はギリギリ使えるかもしれないレベル、AS104はサイズ的にクリップに収まらなかった。
まだまだ代替Oリング探しは続きそう・・・
